Along Came Brooklyn....

Hollaaa!!! This is where I should say "it's been a while" because it deifinitely HAS been a while. I've been blog delinquent for about two months now and this has been due to this circumstance called...dadadada...... "mommyhood". That's right folks, Brooklyn's in town! The storck has finally delivered her to our doorstep and she's been keeping me on my toes since. I'm not complaining though. I love being a mommy. ( goal in mind...to be a hot one in the future as well..haha..we can always dream right??) So yeah i do love being a mommy. I embrace it the way I embrace my little one every minute of the day. Here then is a look back at what it's been like....when Brooklyn came along....drink up.

D - Day!
Location: St. Luke's Global at the Fort
Meet my obgyn slash paolo's cousin, Dr. J-anne Chua. She's the sweetest and the best doctor ev-ver! Till our next bonding sesh okay J! Or should i say till our next baby??? Even better! ( check out myself in my oinky piggy zashikibuta Halloween costume...rarrrr...)

This is our last pic as "just the two of us"....awww will be missing it though...

My baller ids...and yes please don't make me pop them aspirins!

That's me and my steady happy face because today was a special day. Take note. I even curled my hair for this one. Uh-huhhh....that's fashion over labor pains for ya!

This machine kept me hydrated during my amnestic state...

While this was what went on as I was knocked out into oblivion. Welcome to the world my little one.

I woke up and I was officially brooklyn's mommy! I. Cry.

It was love at first sight.
And I now declare March 25 a non-working Brooklyn Kaylie holiday. ( pretty please charmedmac? Haha!)

We were flanked by visitors when friends and family came to show us some love!
Thank you in retrospect everyone!

Brooklyn is definitely daddy's little girl.

......And now we're three.

J'adore!!

Today was another day for our doctor's appointment. We decided to drive off early so we could grab some breakfast before heading out to St. Lukes. We chanced upon this place while driving down the Fort and Im just so thrilled we did.

Someone's simanguting because he's hungry! haha!

We ordered the Breakfat Bonjour. Every morsel was divine. The toasted chocolate croisant almost made me forget my husband's name! Biting into its crisp crust was just as delightful as munching on its flavourful heavenly chocolatey filling! My new favorite..a must try!:) ( i think I sounded like Martha Stewart for a while there!!)

Was so hungry I forgot to take a photo of this untouched. This is the Croque Madame and what's left of it.. wasn't so bad at all!!

Of course, breakfast wont be complete without my caffeine fix. ( Yes, I always remember to just take 1-2 cups a day....my OB says thats legit.;)

Haha! Look who's smiling now....

I am always in awe of pastry counters...like everytime I see one I could almost feel my ocular muscles go on overdrive!!!...Everything looks mouth watering....( or is it just because Im preggo????)

Will not, cannot leave without taking home some of these.

Now we're off to the doctor's. It was our first time consulting Paolo's cousin in this setting. Dr. J-anne Chua will be officially delivering our baby when the day comes. She's a pretty good doctor I must say and getting to finally talk to her put me more at ease. We did some tests and Paolo and I got to see our little girl again!! Its always great seeing our little stunner!

J-anne was also really strict about my blood sugar control. I really really need to limit my sugar intake so this is us taking the news quite lightly....:)

Because of that only Paolo could have this for now.....well that and my take home chocolote croissant!!  ( I can do this.)
