2010 in a nutshell!

The year 2010 was one of the most eventful times for me I must say! Its actually a feel good moment to sit down and reminisce over coffee, the highlights of my 2010.......and....music please..

The year always starts with my birthday. Reason why I get older so fast. That doesn't make much sense but this year's birthday was extra special because aside from celebrating it with my brother ( we were born on the exact same date 4 years apart and I've been sharing this day with him since time in memorial), I got to spend it with my whole family and Paolo's family as well. Thank you Tita Gaye for the birthday treat!

Paolo has been very active in the triathlon world and this year he also competed in Subit, the first big event of the year in triathlon. The rest of the Fitness First team were there to compete as well. So my family and I drove to Subic to show our support!

This was my brother's first big race as well!! I think he met Ebbie, a good friend of ours on the road.;)

Paolo felt he bonked on that race, but nevertheless, I still remain his number one fan to date!

Work was being good to me this year. Nowadays, it truly is hard to find a job you love that loves you, and a boss you have very high respect for. This year was good to me in that sense and hopefully, the same would go for the succeeding years to come.

This year we had MD night. This was a very rare occurence given the tight schedule we had as Belo doctors. It was a hat themed party so we all came in our head dresses. Well who says we didn't know how to party??? We should do this more often guys! Holla Dr. March!:) Btw, check out my migraine-inducing head dress!! Well, we were always taught that it was fashion first before comfort. haha!

Summer of 2010 was hot hot hot!! We wanted to have a lil R&R...so with Dr. Belo's blessing, we closed operations at the clinic, packed our Belo Essentials Sunblock ( can't do without..heehee!) and headed off to where we could find a lot of fun fun fun under the sun!!!

This was also the year we had Lil Amber. She was Paolo and I's first baby! She's the cutest English bulldog I've ever seen IMO, and maybe the first and last doggie Im ever gonna love...

Another special event this year, was me and my hunny's First Year anniverary....the first of tons and tons to come. Fingers crossed! hahaha!

This year was so fun-filled we had to juggle training....

unwinding and nights out with friends.

with family time!

Paolo's birthday week was just as special too, spending it with our closest friends.

This year, we didn't skip the 70.3 ironman event. Paolo's mom  and tito mon's came home to watch him compete!! That was alot of fun!! I was so proud of his performance as well!

This was also the year I had one of the best out of town trips with my family, After more than 10 years, I had gotten the chance to visit my dad's hometown and relatives in Bohol and I just had the time of my life there!! Of course, the company was what made it Epic!!

2010 was also ultra special because this was the year we got engaged......(yes he did put a ring on it!!)

then celebrated after!!!!

pamanhikanned.....

and married!! Yes, this year I changed my name to Mrs. Sauler.

Our church wedding is something we are greatly looking forward to next year.....

This year, I also got my heart crushed. I got a call from the hubby one day saying he met an accident and he was in a hospital like 7000 miles away!! It was also imperative for him to get surgery. I knew this crushed him as well as he was so keen on doing Ironman Clearwater, Florida. But as my dad would always say, sometimes, unconventionally, blessings would come disguised as misfortune. This period actually brought us even closer as husband and wife, for we learned to take care of and lean on to each other. Okay on three.....one very big "NAKS"!!

This year on Christmas, what was just an imaginary santa in my head came to life, granting me most of my wishes and I couldn't ask for more!! To all my santas this year, thank you very much!! You are all loved by me 101%!

And the best and biggest highlight of them all..... was when we first laid our eyes on Brooklyn....<3 <3 <3

2010 was sweet....everything happening all at once. You may call it living life in the fast lane...or living life to the fullest...but whichever way we put it, I have to say that I enjoyed and relished every minute of the ride.

So now as I keep these memoirs in the book called my life....I raise my cup to welcome 2011 and all the thrill and excitement it yet has to offer. Here's to more positive experiences and life changing moments! Cheers to 2011!
