Let's Unwind..

I haven't seen my status peoples in sooo long so when I got a text from Jennie saying we should all hook up for a little wine and dine night, I instantly rsvp'd!
Unfortunately, not everyone could make it to dinner so that night turned out to be an intimate one.

Jennie made reservations at Terry's. They serve a fusion of Spanish, Mediterranean and European dishes.

I  ordered french onion soup for my entree. I also wanted to try their ox tongue with olives and mashed potatoes ... I think Lengua a la Sevillana is what it's called....and it was delish!

This is my friend Jen....she's also the dermatologist in the group and she makes all the Status People's get togethers possible. Did I mention too that she was hot????  Smart. And hot. Well, now you know...

Meet my good friend Jas. She's our neurologist and at times she's dead serious like that.....

But most times she's rock and roll!! This girl never fails to amaze us because back in med school, she would party almost every single night and I am not exaggerating yet still managed to land top 6 in the overall ranking. She's lil Ms. genius loaded with personality. She also just aced the neurology specialty boards! Lets cheers to that Has HO!!!:) We shall miss you when you move to New York!

A good friend and my sissy highly recommended this place, so for dessert we drove down Salcedo to satisfy our fire for chocolate....

There were a lot of delectable desserts to choose from I couldn't make up my mind.

It was all so overwhelming I wanted a taste of everything ( word to JDY!) ......

So these were our picks....We ordered fondue,  chocolate dipped cherries, and one of their bestsellers, Fire & Ice...

This was her fifth cup for the day....and she's luvin it!!!

Empress my bestfriend showed up that night!!!:) She's our pediatrician and I'm proud of her. Empress has always been the life of every party and can make any sitch feel like one!:) She's full of zest and its actually contagious!

March my sissy is crazy about the chocolate dipped cherries and I can see why!! This thing is yum yum!!

The chocolate covered cornflake bar was my favorite.

The take out counter looked evil and made me want to bag them all. I got to try the honeycomb treat..real good sweet stuff....

and I couldn't get enough...

That  night was actually happiness.....

To welcome the coming of the New Year, my husband preplanned our celebration days back and hooked us up with these....buffet passes to all four restaurants at Dusit Thani....that night we had Thai, Jap, Italian and Continental. All to our heart's content!

The hotel looked festive with all the holiday decor!

Holiday trees where everywhere! I just had to have a photo of them all for future reference...heehee!!

 This was the first stop. All continental..

I think we came a lil early cause the place was quite deserted when we got there. 

We couldn't care less though...these were what we got our hands on!!

Okay please tell me these aren't swoon-worthy...for a sweet tooth like me, I could literally seize with delight! Complete with generalized shaking and upward rolling of eyeballs. (O.A.)

We felt like getting some Thai food next so we took the elevator to the mezzanine and found our way to..

We failed to document once again, but they had by far the best tasting pad thais I've ever had my taste buds on..Thai dessert was all about sticky rice and mochi-like balls.

By the time we headed over to get some Italian food....we were so stuffed we didn't even look at the main course! We went straight to the dessert bar. Paolo had a heapful of these with ice-cream on top!!!

We had unlimited wine ( for paolo) and unlimited dancing ( for me) during the NYE countdown show!!

We put on our hats and allowed ourselves to get all hyped up as midnight was approaching...
